Cat Confidential

by Vicky Halls

Written by a renowned cat counselor, this volume helps cat moms & dads understand more about what their feline companions are actually trying to tell them.

Do those pampered kits really want all that food or affection, or are those relentless cries trying to tell you something quite the opposite of what you’re aware of. Cat Confidential explores the silent workings of the bond between humans and their felines, and ultimately helps to unveil the inner workings of the feline psyche.

Harry The Dirty Dog

by Gene Zion and Margaret Bloy Graham

His dread of bath time turns a little white dog with black spots into a little black dog with white spots. Even his family doesn’t recognize him…and that spells trouble for Harry.

Harry had what he thought was a brilliant idea. Hide the scrubbing brush. No brush, no bath! And Harry hated baths.

After burying it securely in the back yard, Harry goes on a “let’s just see how dirty I can get” spree, rolling in the street, cavorting at the railroad, and playing tag with other dusty dogs-even sliding down the coal shoot.

What Harry didn’t foresee was that his family thinks Harry is long gone---and this black dog with white spots just keeps doing tricks in their yard.

Originally published in 1956, this lovely story has lost none of its charm.

Curiosity Thrilled The Cat

by Sofie Kelly

Two magical cats, a murder, and a librarian. What could be better?

Seeking the quiet life in the small town of Mayville Heights, Minnesota, librarian Kathleen Paulson was just settling into her new home when two rather insistent strays muscled their way into her heart. Owen, a tabby with a serious infatuation for catnip and Hercules, a sleek and stocky tuxedo who shares Kathleen’s fondness for Barry Manilow.

What she didn’t know was that these particular felines were magical.

When murder strikes at this peaceful hamlet’s annual Music Festival, Kathleen suddenly finds herself the prime suspect—and it’s up to her magical friends to save her.
