<Careers for Your Cat

by Ann Diemianowitz (author) & Ann Boyajian (illustrator)

Attention all cat owners.  Don’t just stand there.  Get that furry feline off the couch and into the workforce.

It’s time for tough love to motivate Kitten Kitten to get with it and contribute to the family budget.  This step by step manual helps you and your kitty determine the
purrr-fect career path through the use of the exclusive Meowers-Briggs Personality Quiz. Further interview tips include “do not sit in interviewer’s lap” and “no playing with items on interviewer’s desk” It’s all the essential information you and your cat need to know.

Think of it.  Your pampered Persian could nail down six figures in Interior Design.  And isn’t it about time for someone else in the house to have a catnap?.

The Little Dogs' Activity Book

by Deborah Wood

Sometimes small dogs seem to have boundless energy with a capital B.

This lovely little book offers tips and tricks for owners of small dogs under 20 pounds that will keep those vivacious canines occupied constructively throughout the day.

Topics cover ideas on how to get active with your small dog both inside and outside to alleviate boredom that can lead to destructive behavior.  There is a step-by-step guide for tricks, outdoor sports, games including dog themed puzzles and travel.  Also of note, the book offers tips for both dogs and people who may have limited mobility, a disability, or an age related challenge.  Great photos and illustrations make this informative book and enjoyable read for you and your petite pet.

The Cat at Night

by Dahlov Ipcar-author & illustrator

For ages 4-8

This classic tale follows a precocious feline on his nocturnal adventures though farms, fields, forests, and even the city.  The kicker is that its unique perspective is literally from a cat’s eye view after the sun sets..

Charmingly illustrated, this adorable children’s book shows what a human sees (black silhouettes against gunmetal blue skies) as opposed to the same view as a cat (a spectrum of color).  The alternating contrast between the dark night scenes and vivid color is both entertaining and instructional about the life of nocturnal animals…all while having a heck of a good children’s read.
